Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: August 25, 2026

Welcome to Spark Social Pop-Ups. By using this website, registering for an event, or participating in a Spark Social Pop-Up, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

About Spark

Spark Social Pop-Ups creates social experiences designed to help singles meet and connect through shared activities in community spaces.

Participation does not guarantee a romantic connection, match, friendship, exchange of contact information, or any particular outcome. Sometimes something sparks. Sometimes you simply have a really good time.

Event Registration

Registration requirements, event times, locations, pricing, age requirements, and other event-specific information will be provided with each event.

Participants are responsible for providing accurate registration information and reviewing event details before purchasing or attending.

Spark reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event programming, activities, schedules, or other details when necessary.

Payment, Cancellations & Refunds

Event fees, cancellation policies, refund eligibility, and transfer policies may vary by event and will be communicated during registration.

If Spark cancels an event, registered participants will receive information regarding any applicable refund, credit, or rescheduling options.

Participation & Conduct

Spark is intended to be a welcoming, respectful social environment.

By attending, you agree to treat other participants, Spark staff, venue employees, and community partners respectfully. Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, threatening behavior, unwanted sexual behavior, repeated unwanted contact, or behavior that interferes with another person's ability to participate comfortably may result in removal from an event.

Spark reserves the right to refuse admission or remove a participant when reasonably necessary to protect the experience or safety of participants, staff, venues, or others.

Consent & Personal Boundaries

Participation in a Spark event does not imply consent to physical contact, romantic attention, continued communication, or the sharing of personal information.

Each participant is responsible for respecting the boundaries and decisions of others.

Connections Between Participants

Some Spark events may allow participants to privately indicate people they would like to connect with again.

When Spark facilitates a connection, it does so according to the process described for that event. Spark does not guarantee that another participant will select you, respond to a connection, continue communicating, or pursue any type of relationship.

Participants remain responsible for deciding whether and how to communicate, meet, or develop a relationship after an event.

Personal Safety

Spark creates opportunities for adults to meet but cannot independently verify or guarantee the identity, background, intentions, statements, or behavior of every participant.

Use your own judgment when interacting with someone you meet through Spark, particularly when choosing to communicate or meet outside a Spark event.

Venues & Activities

Spark events take place in a variety of independently operated community spaces.

Participants are expected to follow applicable venue rules and instructions. Some events may involve walking, movement, food or beverages, outdoor conditions, creative activities, or other experiences. Event descriptions will provide relevant information when appropriate.

Participation in any optional activity is your choice.

Alcohol & Other Substances

When alcoholic beverages are available, participants are responsible for complying with applicable laws and venue policies and for making safe transportation decisions.

Spark reserves the right to address behavior that creates a safety concern or substantially disrupts the event, regardless of its cause.

Photography & Media

Photography or video may occasionally be taken at Spark events. When promotional photography or recording is planned, participants will be informed and any applicable consent or opt-out process will be communicated.

Third-Party Services

Spark may use or link to third-party websites and services for registration, payment processing, forms, maps, social media, or other functions.

Spark is not responsible for the availability, content, security, or practices of independently operated third-party services.

Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Spark Social Pop-Ups is not responsible for personal relationships, communications, decisions, disagreements, injuries, losses, or other outcomes arising from interactions between participants outside Spark's reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated as Spark grows, events evolve, or our practices change. The current version will be posted on this website with an updated revision date.
